2. Weight in Proportion to Height
3. Minimum height normally above 5’2”
4. Ability to Swim
5. Good Eyesight and Physically fit
6. Well groomed and Self Presentation Skills
7. The right to live and work in the country in which airline is based
8. Ability to communicate well and work in a team
Q. Can I only apply to partner airlines, as the airlines I am interested in are not one of your partners?
A.The diploma is recognised on a worldwide basis. The fact that you would have gained the course certificate and a greater understanding of the role of cabin crew will benefit you when applying to any airline worldwide.
Q. By completing the course how will it make it easier for me to find a position as cabin crew?
A.It will show to airlines when you apply your commitment and dedication to the role of cabin crew and they are much more likely to give you an interview. In addition applicants who have completed the cabin crew diploma are attractive to airlines as they are more knowledgeable and unlikely to fail the airlines in house training course.
Q. Are any books or manuals sent to me?
A.No, all learning is carried out via our E-Learn website, all the course content is online for you to access at any time 24hrs a day.
Q. My height is under 5’2’’. Can I still become cabin crew?
A.Most airlines will require you to be 5ft2” (158m) to be able to work as cabin crew, this is for safety reasons. However there are some regional airlines which operate on smaller aircraft and they might have a lower height restrictions, these details can be found on their job adverts.
Q. I am not a confident swimmer. Is it essential for me to be a good swimmer to become cabin crew?
A.Every airline requires you to be able to swim. The reason for this is primarily for safety, and is also a requirement from all major airline authorities. However you don’t need to be able to swim to complete the Diploma course. If you cannot swim you should definitely consider learning while studying the Diploma course. By the time you’ve finished both you will be in a great position to start your search for a career as cabin crew.
Q. I wear glasses or sometimes contact lenses, will this stop me becoming cabin crew?
A.Provided that your eye sight is corrected with glasses/contact lenses we do not foresee any problems for you , this information would need to be disclosed on you application.
Q. Do you guarantee me a job at the end of the course?
A.Once you complete the diploma course you are then invited to apply to our sponsor airlines for interviews and hopefully you will be selected. We cannot guarantee employment but we will help you as much as we can.
Q. What mark do I need to pass the course?
A.There is no pass or fail mark, the course is totalled as a percentage. However, the higher the grade the better your chance of trying to find work on completion.
